Artist History
DaShawn Brown also known as Judah Priest was born August, 24th 1978 in Philadelphia, PA. His interest in music began in the late 80’s when Hip-Hop really began to take off in the music industry. Following the scheduled release of his album this December, Judah plans to release a compilation album with 39 Lashes, who are also featured on various selections from his Debut Album. Judah Priest's ministry is really straight up and to the point. His mission is to tell all about God's glory and mercy through his own life experiences. As a young man he has experienced many things in life. He has been involved with sex, drugs, false religions, etc. In his music he sets out to give an understanding to those who do not know Christ and about the difference He makes in one life. He speaks bluntly about the lusts of the flesh and how they can affect an individual who doesn't know Christ as their personal savior. His style could very much be labeled hardcore, but it is definitely not preachy or judgmental. One quote from Judah Priest sums up the purpose of his ministry…"But even through these rough times God forgave me and now allows me to tell others about His word and how He delivered me from a world of destruction." Through his ministry Judah Priest strives to be, at the least, the best Christian man and father to his daughter Dashana. |
