Artist History
Hello well here I go again I’ve been a musician and artist for many years I played lead guitar on the road all across this country in the 60’s and 70’s
I played with groups called the Weeds, Yum Yum, and The Telstars and the Dawn Sisters .It makes me chuckle now to think of some of the things I did in those days to become a musician. I was young married (and didn’t want to be) and one day decided to become a guitar player in a band so I went to my aunt and asked to borrow her Sears card and bought my self a guitar and amplifier went down in the cellar for about 6 or 7 months and learned how to play.
Did I mention that I also quit my job, that didn’t go over very well? Before long I had a drummer and bass player and a rhythm guitar player and a group called the Telstars. Back then you needed a gimmick or at least we thought so, ours was spraying our hair silver and wearing large dark sunglasses what a site we were. Our first gig was at a pizza place in Marcus Hook Pa we would play there on Saturday afternoons for pizza and then play at the bar across the street for actual money. From then on it was a 15 or 20-year party I did it all and burned my self around 30 years ago, I guess I’m giving my age away now. Suffice it to say it was a wild ride and almost ended in tragedy but I was lucky and survived.
I made no music for many years but because of the creativity that drives me I took up oil painting and used that for a creative outlet. Then about a two years ago I got the itch to make some more music and bought a guitar and keyboard and of course I had gotten into computing to, at first I just used loop programs because it took a while to learn how to play the keyboard I already new how to play guitar the result of all this are the tracks below I have many more stories to tell and I may in my memoir’s if I ever get to writing them down, at any rate I’m glad to be making music again and glad you have stopped by so sit back and enjoy…

Press Reviews
Here is a review by Listen.com
Combining electronic programming with electric guitars, glistening piano and synths and languid beats, Pennsylvania's Intertrak has come up with a dreamy blend of prog rock and electronica. (Reviewed by Tim P.)
Here is a review from Advantage Music
Intertrak comes to us from Drexel Hill PA. USA Wow there is some talent here folks. This new album "Kiss My asp" by Intertrak is all class. A solo artist with a varied background his musical style is best described as electronic blues, jazz rock. Having listened to the album I'd say its the funkiest electronic music I've heard in a long while. This album really rocks!! Intertrak after not playing for many years is now making a come back as a solo artist. He has played with the likes of Weeds, Yum Yum and The Telstars and the Dawn Sisters back in the 60's and 70's. Check him out I know you will be glad you did folks... Cheers! |
