Artist History
since an early age Christoph was interested in the sound synthesizers made. From early eighties synth-pop to the booming 808's of old school rap he was entranced with technology.But once he heard the sound of Acid house and early Techno he knew what hw wanted to do.A founding member of "The Digital Masters of Love" or "D-MOL" a group which gained success from its 1994 release" VF-24 (a dream)". Christoph and d-mol played various raves and parties throughout the Northeast. After a band disagreement elementONE was born in the fall of 1996. Relocation to Tucson, AZ put a debut album on hold but elementONE's single "True Messiah" critical acclaim and club airplay in AZ. Christoph also released a " A Brief Lesson to The Masters" on Nuclear Family under the name The Rude Mechanical in 1999. The sound is a blend of trip -hop and Acid -Jazz which also gained acclaim in AZ. now back in Syracuse, NY elementONE is releasing a full 15 track debut "Conceptions" which is also available from Nuclear family Records |
