Press Reviews Press Review from Gods of Music.comfor my song "Winds of Time", available @ ampcast.com/avaloLet me start off by saying that what is wonderful about "Winds of Time" is the way it combines warm, glowing background piano tinkles with rivet-gun breaks, along with a bassline that captures your very soul and wraps itself around you. The distinctly Middle-Eastern vocal rapture is a stunning fusion of styles. And then the most awesome breakdown I have heard in ages kicks in around 3:00.. distant pianos, slow-tempo breaks and that Middle East vocal meandering and floating around like an etherial spirit. It's a journey, it's a voyage, and when those breaks kick back in around 5:40 after what seems like an eternity they come back like a long lost friend who you'd really love to get in contact with again. Melancoly,happiness, exploration, discovery, childhood, innocence, life itself - these are the moods this track evokes in me when I listen to this. The way it ends is quite awesome as well - it just simply fades away - like the memory of tasting ice cream for the first time as a child, or the memory of your first kiss. It's goodbye to a dear friend. If this track could have a physical existance beyond the realms of the digits of my computer, it would be my childhood. Awesome, awesome, awesome.
