Artist History blood of christ was formed in 1990 by tom rojack out of the remains of the cleveland hardcore crossover act Civil Disobedience who disbanded over musical differences.tom went threw several line up changes before crossing paths with guitarist matt sorge who since blood of christ has played in bands such as FROM THE DEPTHS,DECREPIT and the most up to date band DEAD OF NIGHT.next to be recrewded was randy scott (randy pirosko) who before BOC played in such acts as MUTILATION,TERROR and STAGNATED.after blood of christ joined such bands as INCANTATION, WORLD WITHOUT END aka(pylonminddrive) and the most up to date bands DEAD OF NIGHT and the cleveland hardcore group WEIGHT OF NINE.last to finish the line up that the band would be rememberd most for was rob newlin,who left the florida based death metal band BURIAL to move to cleveland and complete one of the best metal bands to come out of clevelands history.blood of christ played many shows locally and nationally including the headlining spot in the detroit death fest in 1993 along with clevelands gore heros EMBALMER.blood of christ were known for there extremely loud and violent live shows where a sound man was always in the way of thrown mic stands and other misc'objects.in 93-94 problems began when arguments between band members began to effect the career of the band,when finally everyone moved on to other bands and called it quits,tom went on to join decrepit and continue playing metal for years before he acummilated a demon inside him that caused him to quit playing guitar .this demon inside him was causing him to destroy himself day by day. in the end tom began to clean himself up about 75% and showing an interest in writing some new material,getting a possable project back together with ex-boc members randy and matt to do a loud house rock n roll moterhead style band,when on the night of oct.17th 1997 tom was pronounced dead after being hospitalized for several days for head injuries he recieved in an accident.this site has been put up for the loving memory of a great musician and our friend. we'll see each other again bro!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!to anyone that is interested in blood of christ c.ds with rare demos and 7"s and promos you can e-mail me at jinx216@hotmail.com for prices and info and also matt sorge and randy scott have just finished the final mix on there newest project called dead of night which includes CHRIS DORA----DRUMS (ringworm-soulless-holy ghost and spawn of satan)WAYNE RICHARDS-GUITAR(soulless and caveman)DUANE MORRIS-VOCALS(nun-slaughter-from the depths-decrepit-incantation-etc) the site for dead of night will be finished asap. stay tuned in for info. thanx for everything randy
