Artist History Analog Tara is a self-taught pianist who migrated into electronic music production via playing analog synth in a 70s-funk cover band. From 1997-1999, Tara was the weekly solo pianist at Ciel Rouge in NYC, which Paper Magazine called "Chelsea's most intimate and elegant lounge." Recent solo electronic performances have included Tonic in NYC, AS 220 in RI, and Ladyfests in Chicago and Texas. Tara also publishes Pinknoises.com, a web magazine on women + electronic music, which launched in 2000 and was nominated for Best Music Web Site in the 2003 Webby Awards.
