Artist History Lead guitarist Newtie played with Whimsical Fetus, producing a fair number of songs on the first and second albums. All was well until one day...[This Part of the Band Story was Stolen by the Evil Baron Von Blech, of Kerjapakistanovicha.] ..and with a cheery tone he went on his merry way. After playing guitar riffs alone and writing piss-poor lyrics, Newtie knew that he could not make it on his own. So he spiraled into a coma of drugs and hookers. One night in an acid-induced stupor, Newtie was visited by an avatar of JR "BOB" Dobbs, and the truth was learned. Yes! Let OTHER people help! And so, Newtie with the help of a few of his friends (i.e. Tape Hands the great, Iris, Alia, etc) began recording shitty LoFi songs once more...and thus...UPRIGHT TROUT WAS BORN!
