Artist History
STEVE O'NEILL has released four albums, an award-winning MTV video, 2 videos into Europe, and toured the country extensively. His first album, "WATCH OUT," was an independently produced pop album, utilizing just keyboards, drums and background vocalists, selling over 7000 copies regionally. The single from that album, "WHEN THE MOUNTAIN FALLS" was featured in Billboard Magazine and American Bandstand. The video of "WHEN THE MOUNTAIN FALLS" was added to rotation on MTV, where it remained on the charts for eight weeks and won acclaim at the 1985 CANNES FILM FESTIVAL.The second album, "WHAT'S YOUR PLEASURE?" was a departure from his mainstream pop/rock sound, to a more Latin/Reggae feel, demonstrating the versatility of this talented songwriter.Steve conceived and completed the very ambitious "LIVE" project. Playing keyboards, kicking bass pedals, and performing all of the lead vocals, Steve digitally recorded and videotaped four exciting songs. He and drummer, Jack Moore, accomplished this project without the use of pre-recorded tapes or computerized sequencers. Every note was played "LIVE."The fourth STEVE O'NEILL release was "BRAND NEW DAY." Again teaming up with John Cline, Steve showed just what an accomplished "Pop" artist he is. A Preview of these songs can be sampled on Real Audio 4.0 |
