Artist History
Founded in 1994, Rights Of Humanity have been a driving force in the Hampton Roads, VA music scene. From the beginning, Rights Of Humanity have had several releases, most in the demo tape form. They’re first CD release was a split CD with the Boston Hardcore band Tree (Wonder Drug Records) on Full Contact Entertainment. R.O.H. have since released a self titled CD EP on Diligence Records in the fall of 2000 and a 3 song demo in 2001. They have gotten a great response from they’re new CD through sales on the road, locally, and through the Inter Net. Rights Of Humanity have gotten the chance to play with a lot of well respected bands, not to mention one or two legendary Hardcore bands. They have been called to play with: The Misfits, JFA, Hatebreed, Canderia, Shutdown, One King Down, Murphy’s Law, Nothingface, Tree, Orange 9mm, Hoods, and in July of 2000 they where called upon to open for System Of A Down in Norfolk, VA. Although the past has been a bright one, the future will bring bigger and better things for the band. Rights Of Humanity were asked by Misura (Too Damn Hype) to join the Dark Side Crew. Dark Side is a network of hardcore bands with the same, positive, goals and motivations who support each other through tour support and promotion. |
