Artist History a friend turned me onto fast tracker 2, which turned out to simplify the method used at the time: cut-n-paste in a wav editor. i continued to use fast tracker for the next 2.5 years, when i was again turned onto a new software by the same friend. now i solely use fruityloops, a wav editor, and the lastest addition of a MIDI controller. my latest approach, with said current setup, is recording all tracks live via controller, which gives me more freedom than the confinements of a step sequencer, but allows the ability to fine-tune any recording gone wrong.
