In numerous 80's style bands in Albuquerque,NM, from 1990-1996, Mark, Rick and two other members of their last band (Lost Boys) Decided to call it quits after the 80's scene died. They all went their seperate ways and ended up in different states from California to Texas. After a few years, Mark and Rick both ended up back were they started this whole thing and decided to give it another shot. This time with a new style and numerous ideas to lay down. Mark Wohrlin, ex-drummer, decided to take up the vocals but he still does the drums until they find another drummer. Rick Rinehart plays the Guitar and Bass Guitar for the Album. "It all came out sounding pretty good so we decided to post our songs on Mp3.com and see what happens. So far so good, but we have along way to go." Press Reviews
Integrated Arts VII Radio Station - We're not sure whether we just like Middle Child or REALLY like Middle Child. So, we must conduct tests, in order for us here in the Land of Phrygia Music Appreciation Department to ascertain if we should listen to more. These gruelling tests will not be discussed, because of their physical nature, and some may find it offensive. Hell, even we do. THAT'S offensive. Anyway, be right back with the results... OK, here we have it. First, the Governing Board of the Land of Phrygia Artist Recognition Team would like to point out that we do have likenesses in which to compare Middle Child to. But due to the urgency of the former matter, we'll not disclose those. *Blink 182* Oops. The results show what we came up with: David=182 Jared=182 Ryan=182 Blink 182 subdued with Gin Blossoms + what we think is a band that will polish it up, and get busy in the future. we know this. Wooden Relic Magazine - Rick and Mark is an Alternative Rock Band from Albuquerque, NM. Thier music style is one of the best in their genre and Matchbox 20 needs to move on over. MiddleChild, from 1990 to 1996, was involved with many 80's style bands. After the scene died down, their band the Lostboys seemed to have came to an end. The foursome, at that time, decided it was time to go their separate ways. After a few years, Mark and Rick (MiddleChild) both ended up back together. They thought why not give it another shot. With a new style and many good ideas, they began to record their music. Mark Wohrlin, ex-drummer, decided to take up the vocals. He continues to play until they find another drummer. Rick Rinehart plays the Guitar and Bass on the Album. They decided that the new music sounded pretty good. Mark and Rick decided to post their songs on Mp3.com to see what will happen and so far they are doing very well on mp3.com .I listened to all the songs on the site and found some favorites that as soon as this magazine is done I will download. Hurt is a really cool song and Anything is just as good. I will probably buy there first CD and there new one coming out. This band is a really cool band and I know that hearing is believing. Go now and listen to them now! |
