Artist description
Another one-man-band setup I'm afraid - I mainly sample what I like and rework it into something new and organic. I also use soft-synths and borrowed gear whenever possible. Having produced one video using my music and mostly found footage, I aspire to own a DV cam, to sample a variety of both ambient and visual material, for the construction of further original soundscapes. |
 |
Music Style
Slow recycled breakbeats with low resolution pads and unexpected samples. |
 |
Musical Influences
Underworld, Freezone artists, circa 1990 breakbeat jungle/rave. |

Artist History
I've been playing around with music for the past 5 years. In my opinion my most creative work was done before I bought a PC late last year, when I subsisted on producing with only an Akai DR4 (for sampling, sequencing and recording), later adding a small DJ sampler and some old keyboards. My newer works tend to sample my earlier creations which were recorded through masses of cheap cable and old sound gear resulting in embedded hiss and line noise. My newer work is therefore defined as 'lo-rez' until such time as I devise methods of reproducing my classic sounds in a totally digital environment. |
