Artist History
My solo project began to take shape in 1991 - first a tape-to-tape experiment, later a one-man-and-a-multitrack-recorder thing. The first CD of Dreams Encoded was called "Requiem" and has been recorded between 1994 and 1997. It has never been released (and won't ever be) because I didn't really like it after it was finished... After a short break I started to write new songs and the first of them saw the light of day in February 1998. From then on about 20 songs have been recorded and the 10 best of them are forming the CD "Neon Passion". I hope that I'll be able to get it released by the end of 2000...The music touches various styles from light synthpop to spacious and long electronicals, but two stylish elements can be found in every track: a touch of melancholy and the sound of classic analogue synthesizers and keyboards. OK, "talking about music is like dancing about architecture", so you should download the songs now and have a listen. I hope you'll like them! These internet versions differ from the versions on the CD and won't be available anywhere else but on the net. Of course you may send me lots of e-mails because I'd really like to know what you think about the songs! |
