Press Reviews
Not press reviews , but people's comments : "I liked "Without You" right off. The voice is very pleasant to listen to. The beat ispresent but not overwhelming. I listened the song some more for the composing aspects I guessI'll call it. Everything was smooth and blendedin very well. The sounds added to fill in wereinteresting and well done with no harshness. The song was also stand alone with no abrupt changes or ending and I could tell you put a lot of work in the quality of the sound even over MP3.I'm an "old Man" (54) when it comes to this business and certainly have no connections but I am going to play it for my daughter (19) to see what she thinks." "I dont think I could give you any advice. Its better than anything I have done with thewavestation.""Nice work, Ray! I've been listening to WithoutYou and I'm downloading the other one. Since Ilike the sounds, I'll also download the mellowedit version for a comparison and to hear thesax. There are some very interesting sounds that really show some artwork and "work" is probably the key part of that word. I have to say thatyour vocals reflect the level of talent that you are able to apply to your tunes and the mixture of simple and complex parts works well. As busy as it all is, it doesn't sound junked up with unnecessary sounds at all. I'd probably buy a real CD or CD-R direct from you so I could hear more of what you're doing. Now I've listened to How Do I Live and the mellow edit of Without You.I think it's all very well done without sounding "overdone". |
