Artist History Heavily influenced by the likes of Nukleuz, Tidy Trax, Stimulant Records to name but a few my style is blend of hard house, trance and techno. Infact my roots really lie in the Happy Hardcore scene with folks like Brisk and Billy Bunter who now are also producing Hard House themselves! I'm always try to be innovative with what I do and the only thing holding me back at the moment is the lack of studio time/equipment. Unlike many producers I have chosen to stick with a small but professional piece of software called MadTracker. It allows me to make tunes that are technically just as good as those produced with, say, cubase. However the crunch seems to come when mastering - Madtracker has v.limited scope for this. So until i'm offered some studio time or an upgrade to MadTracker comes about i'll just have to keep experimenting! (comments/tips welcome!) Tune wise, i've been actively putting music up on the web for the past year or so - my main page can be found on mp3.com (http://www.mp3.com/CruelArrangements). Ultimately i'd like to see my tunes sitting on the vinyl rack at HMV and DJ's pumping them to the max at clubs up and down the country! Well we all have our dreams! The break at 1min 40 at 1st was quite annoying, but it grew on me after a couple of plays! The following break is excellent. I was thinking "I hope this builds up here" cos thats what I felt had to happen. And I was very pleased to hear it come in. The drum patterns are well made. Strange vocals really enhance that hard house feel, almost crossing over into happy hardcore - style vocs, kinda like the way hard house is going recently! I really was impressed by this tune, a lot better than some of the tosh appearing on some of the hard house cd's. And the length was about perfect. If I had this on record, the pitch would almost be about 3/4 of the way up (or down on my decks, incase any of you other closet (or real:) ) dj's pick me up on it. Nice Effort man! Alan Clark
