Artist description
A unique blend of horns and vocal harmonies over a tight, rocking-out rhythm section. A new twist on dying trend, we are a rock band with so many influences it's scary - some stuff sounds like pop-punk, some stuff sounds like alternative rock, but wait - there are horns too? oh we're ska! NO. We are not a ska band - we just happen to love the sounds and harmonies of saxes and trombone. Listen to us and we think you will be pleasantly surprised with our fresh sound and cool attitude. |

Press Reviews
"neo melodic pop punk - i really dig this style" (start of Dallas, TX) **** "This is exactly how you are supposed to do this style of punk. You even do the horns right, which is rare as hell. I normally hate horns because they play cheesy melodies. You got it right." (AllForNaught of Vancouver, Washington) **** "Reminds me of Strung Out and Less Than Jake all in one, and thats a good thing!" (forty43three of Paso Robles, California) **** "Less than Jake may have some competition as this is only the second Ska-punk band I have ever liked. I am not great at reviewing ska since there is so little of it I like, but this is awesome." (noblee of Portland, Oregon) **** "Great sound! Beautiful horn melodies and counter-melodies. Good recording. Awesome." (OneNinety of Columbia, Missouri) **** "Finally, out of the crap comes something worthwhile. Great energy! This band is probably great live and their production values means that they are also good on [their] album. Hope they come to my town soon." (DownByLaw of Montreal, Quebec, Canada) **** "Damn this is tight!!! Sounds very reminiscent of the ataris with less than jakes horn section thrown in--wow, i'm floored!! EXTREMELY intelligent music, i love it!!!" (dextromethorpha of Marquette, Michigan) **** "very cool. you guys remind me of the hippos. nice use of the horns. excellent lyrics" (maricon of Miami, Florida) **** "Right On! You guys rock, i love the recording, the beat, i especially love the vocals and the pace changes. Keep it up!" (scrweasel324 of Kalamazoo, Michigan) **** "I really liked the way you played with different instruments, tempos, and dynamics. Very cool." (banglove of Austin, Texas) **** "This Is A Very Rad Band. LOT'S of ENERGY. Their songs are alive, if you hear it twice then you will be singing along to it in you car." (pieater of El Dorado, Kansas) **** "You guys have it all down.. the vocals are amazing.. and i love the brass.. it rules.. Nice job!"
