Artist description
Ex Animo is a fresh teenage blues band bursting with funky new ideas to build on our favorite genre: The Blues! Ex Animo consists of three youths who give our blues a new spin, due to influences from many different genres. "I like it because it's not just the same bass riff with a little guitar solo on top." Says one Ex Animo fan. Many others agree that the bands devotion to producing a new sound beyond the gates of tradition blues music will be their ticket to success. |

Artist History
Peter and Chris, two of the original founders of Ex Animo, have been great friends for many years. "After we jammed together a couple of times, I knew that we really had a musical connection." Says Ex Animo's bassist Chris Benware. The reamaing puzzle was to find a drummer who would fit well with the already composing Peter Duddington, and Chris Benware. This drummer was Devon Fox. Devon is a great drummer who gets funky with different beats. He was the final peice to the blues trio. We now practice together every friday night in our bacement practice area at Chris's house. Our goal so far is to practice practice practice, and eventually lay down some tracks at a local studio to submit to MP3.com and to show to local blues producers. |
