Artist History
Hailing from the Great State of Kansas, L. Ron Drunkard croons the melodies that make the dolls swoon while delivering the big-block rumblings of a perfectly tuned engine. Navigating the road, from Southern California, The Magnificent El Cajon beats the skins into quivering submission. If this doesn't squeeze your cecal, you must not be torqued to spec. Keeping this monster machine in perfect running condition is new chief mechanic and hometown hero Jordan "Apple Pie" Peterson. Setting the pace on the track and around the world since 1996, SNUBNOSE has run with many a fine band including DEKE DICKERSON & THE ECCO-FONICS, SPLIT LIP RAYFIELD, The JOHN DOE THING, The FORTY_FIVES, The LAZY COWGIRLS, SATAN'S PILGRIMS, MORAL CRUX, The VON ZIPPERS, MAGNOLIA THUNDERFINGER, and FOREVER GOLDRUSH, thus captivating audiences of all ages and socio-economic backgrounds. Sitting in the pole position, this hopped-up muscle machine is over 19 feet of pure gleaming power. Remember, this is straight-up, no bullshit rock & roll. If you wanna ride, ya' better hold on tight. |

Press Reviews
No bullshit here. Just loud guitars, powerful drums, and a lot of yelling. Straight ahead rock'n'roll. No need for massive distortion on the amps when you're just rocking out. No atonal weirdness, 5 chords and a lot of energy, not usually my kind of tempos, but what they lack in speed they make up for in power. I want to see them live. -Carey, Flipside Jan/Feb '99 So out of the six things I got this month to review, this is one that is actually worth a shit. This definitely will be a must have for all Misfits and Didjits fans!! The singer actually sounds like a cross between Danzig and Rick Simms, and the music is pretty close to a perfect mixture of the two aforementioned bands. If you've ever heard the Didjits or Misfits, then get the new Snubnose CD and kill two birds with one stone. -Skratch, Sept '98 |
