Artist description
Five musicians from five different nations play Irish folk. While the singer was born and bred in Ireland, the fiddler is Scottish, the guitarist German, the flutist Belgian and the bass player Polish. This mixture of different musical influences produces a sound which ranges from traditional Irish folk to folk-pop. |

Artist History
The band was formed in 1995, and was elected by Guinness to be the best Irish folk band in Germany. Five Alive ' O have produced three albums and a single, been on various tours with Guinness, represented the Irish Tourist Board in Germany, Austria and Switzerland and generally played an awful lot. |
