Artist History DEU is a metal band formed in CT in June of 1996. With a 4 song demo, and split 7" with Groundzero, the band formerly known as Fleshold began playing various states in the Northeast, such as MA, NH, and NY. The band also became a supporting act for major label venues performing with numerous bands like, Slayer, Napalm Death, Morbid Angel, Fear Factory, Hatebreed, and Internal Bleeding. After legal constraints the band changed its name to deadeyesunder While playing out, DEU recorded for a CD/10" which was released by +/- records just before the commencement of tour in May of 1998 with Groundzero. Before leaving for tour, the band parted with original second guitarist Jeff Wu, and aquired Rob to fill the position on second guitar. The band headed west covering areas such as Syracuse, Ann Arbor, Detroit, Toledo, among others. Upon returning DEU recorded 3 Songs for future release. In May of 99 the band left for summer tour once again, with Toledo's Next 2 Nothing covering areas such as Detriot, Erie, Syracuse, Philly, Winston-Salem, among others. Since then, The CD/10" has been repressed, and the band has released a 3 song 7" on Lifeforce records. In late January 2000 russo left DEU, and the band met up with Tom Marino from Wus-ter MA. DEU has just released a 4 song demo of brand new songs that is now available.
