Artist History
Formed in 1994, Despondency was the brainchild of guitarist Jonathan Joubert and drummer Kristian Hale. The band mysteriously fell apart before their 1997 CD was released. After a one year hiatus, Despondency reformed to unleash a more brutal sound than before. They released their debut mCD "In Sorrow I Lie" in 1999 to critical acclaim. |
