Artist History
As the son of a sharecropper, Carl Perkins grew up working in the fields. He learned to play guitar on a second hand gift, and the rest is history. Perkins has penned such hits as "Blue Suede Shoes," "Daddy Sang Bass," "I Was So Wrong," and "Matchbox" just to name a very few. Perkins tunes have been covered by so many legends, that many people don't know the extent that Perkins has influenced Rock 'n Roll today. |
