Artist description
I am primarily a guitar player but I also play bass, keyboards, and program my own drums through a KAT DK10 percussion controller. I am not comfortable sitting still in any particular style, so every song, though based primarily in the rock idiom, is tinged with elements of various other styles. I make an effort to keep my music fresh and light, under the constant fear that one song might sound like the next. In my music you will hear a foundation of rock, a lot of blues, a little jazz, a smidge of funk and even a hint or two of hip hop and soul(in some tunes). In short, I believe the music you hear at my site will be a breath of fresh air, and I certianly hope that each tune touches you in some way, lifts your spirits, and keeps you on the high road; because that is what making music is all about, isn't it? |

Artist History
I started playing guitar at about age 9, but I was bitten by the bug long before this. As a child, I would listen to my mom play guitar and sing old country songs, as well as recordings of my aunt and uncle playing and singing Chet Atkins,Ink Spots, Bob Wills, etc. Learning the guitar only urged me to try to find ways to make more music. I began dabbling with recording in grade school and, with the help of Drum Drops records and two tape recorders, I was making my own multitrack recordings. As years passed, I learned other instruments and acquired more professional recording gear. Now I record mostly alone, though future plans are to colaborate with other musician friends and bands to create a broader musical spectrum. |
