Artist History Worn Thin was formed in the Washington D.C. area in late 2000. In May of 2001 they recorded a 5 song self titled 7" for MALFUNCTION RECORDS. Playing extensively on the east coast and selling out of their s/t 7" they caught the attention of Youngblood Records. In fall 2003 they recorded a 7" for Youngblood Records, entitled "Remnants of what could have been" with Ken Olden(Burn,The First Step, Shelter) at Monster Island Studios in Washington DC. Merging the elements of aggression and melody Worn Thin has been compared to Turning Point and Verbal Assault. In Fall 2003 Youngblood Records released a full length enhanced CD containing the out of Print Malfunction 7" and the Youngblood 7" plus bonus tracks and a live video.
