    Artist description
An Industrial/Electronic band from New Bern, North Carolina. David Carta (Vocals, Programming, Drums, guitar and bass), Michael Howard (Programming, Synth, Samples, synthbass, Vocals). Our music is primarily industrial/darkwave or heavier, but we also produce a bit of ambient/dream type music. Our influences show through at times, although we try to stick to our own style of music. Our music has a dark feel to it, but often has an electronic beat often found in Techno or Trance...

    Press Reviews
Review from raw42.com: "Cold is a very solid track. It is obvious that Twist Of Fate takes time and care in their drum programming, as the loops employed through the song fit very well, and definitely give a danceable beat to the otherwise dark track. The production could use some work...some obvious clicks at loop points near the beginning of the track will make any electronic musician's ears hurt, and the vocal recording isn't perfect either. All this put aside though, Cold is definitely a track worth listening to. Listening to a few other tracks, I would definitely assert that Cold is the band's best work, and is a track worth listening to by any industrial/darkwave fan. The band definitely needs to take some more time with production, as, drum programming aside, it sounds like most of the tracks are somewhat rushed to completion. Otherwise, they are a solid band with good ideas, that has the potential to produce some very nice tracks in the future. Matt W raw42.com 11-09-2000" (note: Since this review, Cold and most of the other tracks have been remastered, and the vocals redone. The clicks at the beginning of cold were part of the song and practically undetectable, and the imperfections with the vocals have been fixed. The reviewed version was a demo version, and the other songs reviewed were demos that have been removed. Thanks. -D. Carta)
