Artist History
formed in 1997 in ottawa, canada, they soon climbed out of the 'burb basement to join the exploding ottawa independent music scene. they began opening up for a bunch of super bands such as werbo, starling, and the rheostatics, and have since been headling shows, bringing their high-energy, melodramatic performances to new heights. their debut ep: "For Decoration Only", was recorded with ian lefeuvre at slopoke studios in ottawa. They have just finished recording (Mar. 2003) and mixing Two Years End, their new full length, at Little Bull Horn and Slopoke studios, with the help of Dave Draves and Ian Lefeuvre twiddling knobs and clicking mice. John Golden (Sonic Youth, Godspeed..., Spoon, Yumi Bitsu, ...)will be mastering their new disc hopefully sometime at the end of april. So ... expect to see it in May. I think? |
