Artist History
Producer Graham Burks and Lyricist David Bell have been life-long friends and musical collaborators. After spending time apart and honing their individual skills, they came together in December of 1999 to create what has become Phenophonic with the intention of putting together a band that could bring the sonically challenging studio sound to the live stage. April of 2000 marked the first release from Phenophonic, entitled simply "EP". The CD features six songs, recorded in their home studio, which blend sampled beats with live drums, analog synthesizers, guitars and David and Graham's vocal harmonies. Since the release of "EP", the band has concentrated on developing their live show with such noted musicians as Russ Hensley and Jess Norwood. They are currently looking for a keyboard player able to translate studio electronics to the live stage. |
