Artist History Michael J Kelly earned a BA in Theory and Composition in 1984 and a MA in Theory and Composition in 1996 from the SUNY at Fredonia School of Music. He was the recipient of the Victoria Bohlen Memorial Award for excellence in composition. Kelly has been writing, recording and performing in New York City since 1984 and returned to Fredonia in 1994 to study composition with Dr. Donald Bohlen. He currently lives in New York City and performs with vocalist and best friend, Ronnie Gent, in the Ronnie Gent Band, of which he has been a member since 1984.
