Louise Mosrie is a solo artist. Her strong vocals and her unique musical style ranges from folk to pop to rock with a "lyrical sense that is intensely personal...carefully bablancing heart and soul". Artist History
Louise started out in a pop cover band in 1992 but soon desired more creative expression. She left to form an alternative rock group called The Crumbtinies and later an acoustic duo called She Said after she discovered Everything but the Girl's music. Still frustrated by the limitations of being only the singer in the band, she went solo in January 1999 after learning to play the guitar for herself. In the summer of 1999, she began working on Crave, the debut album. In October, it was released to solid critical acclaim in her home town of Knoxville. She now tours the Southeast regularly playing in Atlanta, Nashville, Asheville, and Knoxville. She is also working on new material constantly in preparation for her second release..... |
