Artist description S T E R E O S C O P E is a new york based group who have been writing and recording over the period of a year. they are currently putting the finishing touches on their debut album, and are planning a promotional club tour set to commence this fall. their mature blend of rock, pop, alternative, and classic balladry are reminiscent of an eclectic roots-rock sound with rhythm crossover appeal.

Artist History born out of the demise of last year's now defunct JIMMY_JAMES, the remaining members have re-grouped to form an engaging and musically varied live act. jeff stephens (vocals), and d.patrick (bass/drums/guitar) met in the fall of 1995. a strong musical bond formed and they began collaborating late 1998. with the addition of vin aliberto on lead guitar (fall 2001),they have amassed a catalog of nearly 30 songs and have been performing thoughout the new york city area including venues such as SHINE, THE BITTER END, THE ELBOW ROOM, and THE VILLAGE UNDERGROUND.
