Artist description
We're two bored college students who dick around with keyboards and software to make what appears to be seemingly interesting musical structures known as "songs." Since groups of people who write these "songs" need a name to be associated, we called ourself a "band" and named ourselves "Iapetus." |

Music Style
Experimental Electronic music, popularly known as IDM, heavier on the melody rather than DSP. |

Artist History
Iapetus was started in the spring of 1999 with the mission to take over the world. We ended up just taking over an apartment down the street later, but that's not what matters. We started off with sparce equipment (an old Juno and a slow computer), and built from there. |
