Artist History
Sandra, Oliver and I, all three playing the guitar, got together about February '98. We played a bit together, covering around for one or two sessions. Soon Sandra introduced Markus, and a couple of sessions later we soon had our first own material. Soon the times of having three guitars were over, Sandra left us a few weeks after we started. Markus, Oliver and I organized a room in the grammar school we were pupils of (which made us a school band) and began working on songs.Until summer '98 we had about 9 songs together, and a difficult time period began. Markus was about to leave Germany for a year to take part in a student exchange program with the US, while Olli and I started our "Zivildienst", the alternative to the military service you have to do in Germany.Time was working against us, we had the feeling that we had to do something to hold us together. So we decided to record the songs we made. So here it is, "Light Throws Shadows".After Markus returned Olli left, and Anja joined us playing the bass. We now had to focus on gigs, and are still gaining experiences, most of them positive. It is nice to see how you are getting better with each gig. Our greatest one was on July 12th at the university in Düsseldorf. |
