Artist History
Hateball was formed at the end of 99 by Eddie Ben-Tov, Michael Ankarbranth and Matti Onnela.Together we decided to start playing some mean, dirty rock n roll.Michael and Eddie have played together before in different bands, but none of the bands worked out very well.Matti has played in several bands but he was not playing in any band in that particular time, but he had materials that we now can crack your ribbs with.Through the singer in Superdice we met the drummer "Mr.Salo" who really enjoyed to rock the shit out of everything, he had also played in a few bands before, now the was band ready.All members in the band was born in the 70's.We recorded our first demo in June 17th 2000.Eddie was leaving Hateball in october 2000 , and so we decided to continue as a 3 man band. In Mars 2001 we recorded our second demo.In June 2001 Robert Ankarbranth joined the band as a bass player so Michael started to play guitar again.Later in June Hateball signed a contract with Daredevil records for a release of a split CD with Rickshaw named Double Deluxe, and it´s are going to be released in the end of August.More info are coming up soon. |
