Artist History From the moment I wanted to be a songwriter, I knew I?d have some trouble. After all, I was only 9 years old and my piano teacher wasn?t exactly into rock ?n? roll. Nor were my parents. No, it was classical Czerny for me, and my older cousin taunting me b ecause I couldn?t go play with the rest of the kids outside. I did however, manage to write my first song, with the title of ?The Brook? (and a few other songs) without breaking too many of the existing rules.Thank god for Bob Dylan, Tom Petty, Lucinda Williams, Toni Childs and others who gave me hope. Here were people that had unique voices, were kind of odd looking, but there was something about their songs. And thank god for the musicians I met along the way, the members of "Dance Naked With Friends". Our current CD includes the songs we've produced over the past few years, the ones we was lucky enough to get new and old friends to participate in along the way.

Press Reviews "Everybody's Got a Gun" and "Modern Day Talk", two original songs, get chosen for FreeTibet Music Publishing Catalog, the first "political songs only" song publisher. After many months of post-production, the independent film "Jane" is ready for the b ig screen! Produced by Bad Kitty Films, the film was scored by Tracey Pettis of Dance Naked With Friends in Sausalito. Tracey also wrote the theme song "What Is Life?" "Jane will be submitted for entry to the Sundance Film Festival. Disney picks up the original song "Martian Boy" for further consideration.
