Artist description Born in North Q,land, Australia, with early piano tuition in Innisfail.Interrupted by nearly 3 years in the RAAF after which resumed music studies with Alexander Sverjensky at the NSW Conservatorium;After graduating from the Conservatorium, a career of piano playing in various venues and also started arranging music for various music combos.Wrote 2 dance dramas for The Sydney Dance Drama Group (1) Strange Children(2) The FenceWent to England for 6 years and worked in cabaret, pantomime and films.Films such as (1)A kind of loving and(2) The Kings breakfast.Worked on musicals such as (1) Blitz(2) Twang(3) Robert and Elizabeth Wrote mood music for Southern Music Film Library (now Bruton Music)On return to Australia in collaberation with Dr Amy Mcgrath wrote rock opera "Crusade" workshopped at the OH. Worked as MD for artists such as Warren Mitchell Wayne Cornell and Jenifer Green. On joining the ABC arranged for the ABC Showband and The National Training Orchestra. As a staff arranger and composer with the ABC wrote for each state orchestra and for artists as diverse as Rita Streich, Marilyn Richardson, and Julie Anthony. Film Music:- ABC TV Series "Contrabandits" "Ride On Stranger"TV Film "lucullus" and others Film Australia:- "Waterdwellers" "Through The Reef" "After Cook""There are Yachts At The Bottom Of The Garden" ----etc;With Clem Millward wrote songs for a proposed children's musical "Backyard Magic" Now practising for The Davis Cup,cheers,Arnold
