Artist History
APP started in early 1999 under the name Pummel with a slower feel more akin to Hum. Members at the time were Tom West, Deanna Novak, Josh Emery, and Kevin Hogue. Due to conflicting schedules, Kevin went his own way. Pummel shed its name and donned the current one: All Purpose Parade. APP continued playing shows around western PA and in November picked keyboardist Phill Cresswell. Later, guitarist Shawn Timblin was added to the lineup. Since then, Phill and Deanna have both left, and for a time Jason Clark took over the bass duties. Currently, All Purpose Parade is not a functional band. You can catch Tom West playing in Foxhole. Josh Emery has a band called Geography. |
