Artist History
31 capricorns has been an evolutionary process, beginning in 1999 as a diversion from the fine art world. Founding member Guy Vincent, an accomplished visual artist, began to explore the possibilities of creating music on his own, utilizing the same principles as in the visual arts...design, composition, texture, etc. It was in this attempt to combine the languages of art, music, poetry, and filmmaking, that the project began to take shape. The primary focus has been on developing intelligent inspiring music that can communicate a multitude of feelings, from abstract expressionism to realism. We believe in the conscious and subconscious production and arrangement of sounds, colors, forms, movements, and other elements in a manner that affects one's sense of beauty. |
