Artist History Zhamilya M. SerkebaevaBorn in 1970, with honours graduated at the Republic Music College K. Baisaitova (with Ms R Sahojaeva) en Almaty State Conservatorium Kurmangazy.Winner of the “International Contest of Musicians” from the Jazz Association of New York.Started out as conductor, violin-soloist of a chamber orchestra and as soloist of the Big Band from the National Kazakhstan radio and T.V.Toured with success in Europe, America and Asia. Concerts included performances with conductors Mr Un and Mr Fuat Mansurov and the English flutist Yussem Bousteni.Knew also great success at the “Voice of Asia” festival in 1998.
