Artist description
I’m a solo artist composing from my ever expanding digital home studio, based in the northwest of England on the Wirral peninsula. My time is spent at my Korg X3 keyboard writing, tweaking and playing with all manner of sounds. I’m a big devotee of Frank Zappa’s wonderful music - his compositions are amazing, varied, original, educational, inspirational and totally entertaining - just the way music should be. I enjoy movies and have a great love for video games, especially the old classics like Defender, Tempest, Galaxians, etc. A lot of my inspiration comes from both film soundtracks and video game sound effects. The music I write is the music I want to hear - I try not to write in a certain style, or for a certain audience. Instead I write what I feel. I hope people will listen and enjoy it. |

Artist History
I’ve been writing music for quite a while now - I think it’s been over 10 years at the last count. Even when I was a kid, I used to mess around with songs and sound effects on my Atari 400 computer - wow, the Atari 400, remember those? I formed Morbid Symphony (www.mp3.com/morbidsymphony) with a friend in the early 90s and played bass with them for several years. I have built up quite a large catalogue of my own music over the years and I am currently in the process of updating some of my older material as well as creating newer pieces. I'm also a member of the ambient-electro-rock band Flesh-Resonance (www.mp3.com/fr) - make sure to check them out. |
