Artist History
Ralph D. Scott is a native of Murfreesboro where he continues to resides with his wife Denise and two teenage children. His career is devoted entirely to music and consists of a variety of activities. They include Ralph's Piano Service where he tunes, repairs, and refinishes pianos, the Piano Technicians Guild where he serves an Associate Member, the American Piano Institute where he earned certification and finally through his own company, Musicworks where he writes and records his compositions. His latest CD, Jazz Journey: A Day in the Life, musically chronicals one ordinary city fellow's life through one ordinary Friday. However, this is no ordinary CD. It's filled with colorful expression fit for a movie soundtrack. Ralph played bass guitar and piano in local bands for many years. He also played the viola in a youth symphony for four years. Ralph is a very active member of his church and has written, produced, and performed his original compositions during the services. Some of his original compositions include "God is Everywhere", as well as several jazz tunes which are included in his latest CD, Jazz Journey: A Day in the Life. |
