Press Reviews
"...impeccable...shimmering and refreshing." THE WASHINGTON POST Listen for yourself! June 5, 2000 Reviewer: john patterson from USA fan and reviewer If you're looking to rock, shag, or throw down the rap, then move on to the next review. On the other hand, if you want well-crafted, silky-smooth, deliciously rainy-day romantic, day-dreamy, heartfelt, ineffable keyboards with perfection, stop here. Bach has seamlessly meshed twelve songs into a mood of inspiration, healing, and the musician's melancholy world of introspective visions. It is solo piano, then a full augmentation of synths, and then there's sensuous sax, a mosaic of percussion, fretless bass, wailing atmospheric and lazy stream guitar, with ethnic flute. Best of all these twelve sonic paintings are David Bach interwoven everywhere. Sensitive, slick, yet oh so warm, fleeting, gliding, lilting from indigo room to late afternoon sunroom, a musical journey of gentle determination and the joy of just being alive. A must for those who must mellow out with a slightly, edged groove, over a fine wine. Ladies, this CD, is for you. Guys, she'll love the passion this CD exudes. Add this to your collection for that unforgettable...well, listen for yourself. |
