Artist description
Two guys, two guitars, a ton of volume and some great songs combine to make This Year's Fad the loudest acoustic duo in the Midwest--maybe even anywhere. The songwriting is first-rate, featuring interweaving, propulsive guitar lines and vocal harmonies. This rocking duo regularly out-powers full bands live. |

Press Reviews
From SCENE & HEARD, Cincinnati: "...[The CASH COW album] showcases the duo's witty and headstrong blues-tinged acoustic approach and tight harmonies. The closing "Fad Addict" seems to be the band's standard, a kind of Jane's Addiction-like wandering high melody, and alternately shouted and whispered chorus, under which wanders an Indian-style psychedelic part. It's a great song, catchy and forceful in parts, hypnotic and pretty in others."From CITYBEAT, Cincinnati: "The duo...show that two guys with acoustic guitars can manage more full-bodied energy than you might think. TYF's appeal lies largely in the way their harmonies snake around each other creating melodies that are catchy and far-reaching. TYF is a superbly rich and powerful musical experience." |
