    Artist History
1988: Started a band called Ultimate White with our cousin Mike who played drums. Jeff played keyboard and Steve sang. We had no shows at this point...after all, we were only 11 and 8 years old. 1990: Changed our name to Mission Control, picked up a background vocalist, Pat Condon and had our first gig at the Garvin School Harvest Dance. 1992: Mike left the band and Pat took up guitar. Jeff also started playing guitar. We also got a drummer, Tim Messer. Throughout 1992, 93, and 94 we had several shows and recorded some very low quality demo tapes. 1995: Tim Messer was asked to leave the band because of personal differences and Steve, Jeff, and Pat recorded a demo tape called Illusions. It featured songs like "Shadows" and "Kiss The Rain". 1996: Throughout 96, Steve and Jeff played many shows like the Cumberland High Talent Show where the song "Kiss The Rain" became a fan favorite. Jeff, Steve, and Pat also played a farewell show with drummer Kevin Mania. It would be Mission Control's last show ever. Jeff was graduating High School and Pat was busy with his other band Stonehenge. Jeff and Steve recorded another tape without Pat. It is called Destinations and it featured songs like "Shadows" and "My Perfect Youth". 1997: Jeff joined a band called Broken Ridge with Ken and Ryan Hynes and Mike Joubert. The struggling band was looking for a singer so Steve quickly agreed. The 5 members changed their name to Entropy. 1997-1999: Entropy was a phenomenal band, playing clubs in downtown Providence, and many colleges like Rhode Island College, and Providence College. They would also headline Cumberlandfest two years in a row, getting crowds of over 300. Also, Cumberland High Talent Shows were very much a highlight of their career. Entropy recorded 2 tapes. One called Entropy, which featured the fan favorite "Haunting" and a redrafted version of "kiss the Rain" called "Rain". The second tape called S.A.K. had 12 songs. Highlights were "Taking Me Down" and "Countdown To Intensity". Both Mission Control songs and Entropy songs will be available on mp3.com soon. 2000: After Entropy broke up in late 1999 because of creative differences, Steve and Jeff decided to stick together and create more music. 2000- Jeff and Steve finish recording "Undrr One Roof", a full 12 song CD featuring "Alive" and "Forever" amongst others. You can hear all the songs on the CD right here on this page and you can purchase the CD here also. 2001- You will notice 8 new songs on the mp3 page. These songs are from a tribute CD for our mother that was recorded as a christmas gift. The CD is not available for purchase but all 8 songs are available to listen to right here. Highlights are "Smile Inside" and "Living A Dream". In a couple of months or so, there will be 10 new songs added to the page. These songs are remakes of old Mission Control songs and Entropy songs. We have been recording them for about 3 months and just finished last week. Look forward to hearing new versions of "Taking Me Down" by Entropy, and "Land Of Oz" by Mission Control amongst many others. In March /April 2002, Jeff and Steve will be releasing our 2nd official CD to the public and it will be available on MP3.com It is called "Amazing Story" and it contains 12 brand new songs including "Bar Mexico" and "Cosmic Night." According to Jeff and Steve, this CD is more mainstream and commercial than "Under One Roof" was but still has some experimental qualities at times. The sound quality is 10 times better and the song writing is also a step higher than our previous works. Enjoy!
