Artist History
SushiRobo brings a closet full of guitar effects and catchy melodies. The band formed in October 1999 and two months later found themselves recording their debut CD in Seattle's Egg Studio. The fresh energy gave vitality to the songs, which quickly led to Pattern 25 Records' interest. The West Coast gets a taste this Fall when the band embarks on a regional tour. |

Press Reviews
"so punchy and melodically sound, it might as well have been played by a spacesuit-clad Dismemberment Plan."
-CMJ Weekly
"SushiRobo throw the gauntlet to garage bands who see the future as filled with three chords, a bridge and a chorus."
- Alternative Press
"Rat or Mole encapsulates their genius for melding woozy out-of-whack guitars, wobbly, slightly bent melodic hooks, and rigid, metronomic beats."
- Amplifier
SushiRobo serves up a wildly eclectic, hook-laden, guitar rock that's laced with imaginatioin and style...Filled with smart ass lyrics and great delivery, this debut shows huge promise for an emerging band.
