Artist History Marina Vittoria began playing the music scene in Philadelphia in 1998. In no time at all, she was sent to producer Daoud Shaw of Radioactive Productions(credits include Van Morrison, Jerry Garcia, Etta James, and The Saturday Night Live Band)and created her debut CD "For the People". She has been performing regularly and sometimes appears with her daughter singing beautiful harmonies as on her CD. In the summer of 1999, she formed her own band known as "The Marina Vittoria Band." Band members Brendon Brandt on bass, Eddie Wallin on drums, Joseph Breen on percussion, and Dave Lefkowitz on lead guitar are talented musicians each from a long impressive history of performing in bands in the Philadelphia area. The band gives Marina the sound she has been looking for. She enjoys creating beautiful acoustic songs but also loves to rock and get the people moving. Her upbringing was surrounded by the music of the times including the British Invasion Bands. As a result , she has a special affinity for that special 60'ish sound. She has been often told she emits a sort of Cosmic California sound of the 60's. The Marina Vittoria Band is presently recording new material for the next CD and guarantees to make you smile, cry, and dance.
