Artist History
Formed in 1999, magnesium is the latest manifestation of Cornelius Boots' organic electronic experimental rock agenda. The group is decidedly anti-purist and has no qualms with mixing any genre of musical ingredients into their roiling brew of dark funk and riff rock. |

Press Reviews
"Accept the fact that you have not lived until you've seen a Magnesium show ... one of the hottest three-piece bands in Chicago ... Magnesium is more of an experience than a band."-Benjamin Spencer @ Barfly,June 2000 "...recent research...has increasingly found magnesium deficiencies (ranging from 65-85%) in vertually every level of American society from the very young to the elderly...supplements for a period of two weeks [will cause] significant reductions in muscle twitching, pains, asthma, & cardiac arrhythmia, as well as feeling of increased energy, well being, and strength." - Dr. Jeffrey Gates, D.H.Sc.@New Century Nutrition" "Magnesium is known as the lightweight champion of the metals. No metal can be cut, filled, drilled, or shaped as easily or as quickly as magnesium."- Phil Matthews @ Club VW "That thing is built three times heavier than it needs to be."- Radar @ Deltronics |
