Artist History BLACK APPLE was formed in 1996 By writers & Brothers Mark (Guitars/Drums) & Barry Celani (Bass). They did nothing for several years except compose (jobs aside) Music. Barry brought in Peter in mid-1997, a former band mate & Vocalist from a High School group both were members of. Barry & Mark inlisted Ian to the play the backbeats Mark had written for this CD & gigs thus far played. (Ian is R in Picture- Peter is L- Barry is top C- Mark is Front C). BLACK APPLE has played Venues in & around the greater Boston area & College Shows as well as Coffee House gigs.This self titled CD was their first joint venture, compleated in May 1999. The CDs promotion has earned them to a much Higher caliber of Large Capacity Venues due to Radio play,Rave Reviews, & Word of mouth of their growing equally as fast Fanbase including several Musicians attending any given show. Their History is still New & ever Growing at an exceptionally fast pace. This is, Rock on a Definite Fast Roll.Their First Large Venue Show since the compleation of this self titled CD was a 1,500 Capacity Venue opening for a Major Act,all on the Merit of this CD & high sales at shows & various internet sites.
