Artist History
I've been a musician since I was 9 when I first started in the school band. I played all through school.I picked up the guitar at age 12. I wrote a small symphony at age 18 for my high school band which was performed at their spring concert. After high school, I was in and out of many different bands. After a while I hit the right combination with a band called Johnny Monster. We were the area's top band for about 5 years running, commanding top dollar and top billing. We also won a few talent competitions in the area. For this we were awarded a video and we became Michianas first band to make a music video. Of course, all good things come to an end and so too did Johnny Monster. Ther pressure of playing every weekend and working all week and trying to raise our families was too much. We split in 1990. I took a much needed rest and then got back into it in 1993 with the creation of The Hostile Amish. Although not quite as good musically as Johnny Monster we did have a better stage show. The Amish were also a top Michiana draw for about 4 years. After the Amish split, I decided to make my own CD. My music, my thoughts, my production. The result is "Darkness and Light" It's an epic tale of the meaning of good times and bad, backed up by some of my best songs yet. I hope you'll give it a listen! |
