Artist History
Spyglass Guest formed in 1993 and released the "Invisible Hand" EP shortly after. Although the band never had an official full-length release while they were together, they did record the majority of what would have been their first album before breaking up in 1994. After the band's break up, recordings of a large percentage of their live performances were circulating in the bootleg tape traders market. With such an interest in the band still present, the CD "Spyglass Guest; 1993-1994" was released in 1998. This CD is made up of the four tracks from the "Invisible Hand" EP and one other studio track plus interviews and five songs from a live radio performance on March 9, 1994 originaly broadcast on Album 88 in Atlanta, GA. Also in 1998, Spyglass Guest was featured on the "Collection of Curiosities" compilation CD. After the band's break-up, Bassist/songwriter, Wade Summerlin, went on to form the band Cobweb Strange. |
