Artist History
Something Said resides in the Lexington, Ohio area. The band has been together since 1997. Its credits include numerous shows throughout the state of Ohio, with additional shows during a 5-date tour for spring break of 1998 in Daytona Beach, Florida. The band consists of Mark Abrams on Lead vocals and guitar, Paul Racer on rhythm guitar and keyboards, Sam Torreso on bass guitar, Steve Abrams on lead guitar, and Eli Mitchell on percussion. The band released a nine song demo at it’s Ohio State University sponsored CD release party in 1998. Other credits include opening spots for top national acts such as Train in August of 1999, at the Newport Music Hall in Columbus, Ohio. The band has received air play on numerous Ohio radio stations such as 99.7 The Blitz in Columbus, Ohio, Y-105.3 WYHT in Mansfield, Ohio, and 88.9 WRDL The Eagle in Ashland, Ohio. Something Said is currently in the process of writing new material for a full-length release in the spring of 2001. |
